Services – ISO Management Systems

Gloria has over 30 years of hands-on experience as a system management professional and an executive. She worked for the Royal Dutch Army from 1983 to 1997, where she learned the sound and crucial principles of 1969 NATO quality management specifications (AQAP) for design, development and production. In 1987, when ISO 9000 standards were published, NATO countries decided to adapt these standards and Gloria was among the first Quality Engineers to be introduced to the change. Since then she has set up over 40 systems pertaining to quality, food safety, environment, HACCP, FSC, SFI, etc. over several organizations. It is through these systems that she discovered the challenge of the misconceptions that exists between management and workforce, and the importance of corporate culture.

In the event where a Quality Management System is established but the need arises for a second or third international management system, the possibility exists to integrate the systems so that it can function as one integrated system.

Testimonial

During the 7 years that she reported to me, Gloria epitomised the maxim that "good
employees are hard work! Gloria is a person of strong principle and firm resolve, and she
is someone who prefers to swim against the current. Inevitably, this resulted in change
which was often inconvenient but always to the benefit of the business. We achieved a
number of milestones such as being the first plant within our Group to achieve ISO
22,000. Furthermore, the successful implementation of our Ikamva change
management process (conceived and facilitated by Gloria) allowed us to successfully
conclude and embed a number of organisational and workplace interventions. Gloria
taught me to really appreciate the value of diversity!
